Youngs’ Roofing Contractors recently completed a roof replacement project in Stockton Heath. Time was of the essence to the customer and we were able to finish the complete job in only three days.
We were able to use our own scaffolding contractors to make light work of access and began the roof replacement by immediately removed the old Marlow Ludlow tile coverings.
Using treated beaten and breathable felt with non perishable 5U felt through the eave, we then began the process of re felting and battening the whole roof area. We then fitted the chosen new tiles which were Marley Majors in a smooth brown colour.
In order to ensure a maintenance free roof for the future we also installed a Klober dry ridge and verge system.
We then had to renovate an old GRP roof with a ‘Cure- It’ fibreglass roof system, which comes complete with a 20 year guarantee.
Needless to say the client was pleased not only with the quality and look of the finished roof but with the swift turn around from start to finish.
