The dedicated team at Young’s Roofing Contractors employed their re-roofing services in Cheadle in Cheshire recently.
The roof in question was in very poor condition and once our scaffolding was in place, we began the process of removing all the original rosemary tiles from the area and assessing the infrastructure beneath.
All of the felt and battens had to be removed and replaced with treated battens and then covered with non-perishable and breathable 5U felt through the eaves.
The customer had specified attractive Lagan flat tiles which were supplied and then laid incorporating a gutter neatly bonded to the next door property, ensuring a perfect and watertight joint.
Finally we were keen to ensure a maintenance free roof going forward and a Klober dry ridge system was specified to complete the project.
