Sadly many of the jobs we get to look at are as a result of poor workmanship and attention to detail of a previous contractor.
A good example of this when we were called to a flat roof causing problems in Peover, Cheshire.
The previous contractor had done what can only be described as an abysmal job, a sarnafil roof with no falls on it to ensure water will run off -an important pre-requisite for a flat roof – in other words a total bodge job!
We were forced to completely re-construct the roof correctly, rectifying all the previous mistakes, and laid a GRP fibreglass system which comes complete with 20 year guarantee.
Flat roofs don’t need to be problematic, they just have to be build to a high standard and with quality workmanship.
